Schulman Bhattacharya in the News: Law Firm Sues to Uphold Rights of Partner in New York Student Housing Project

Jan 16

The Rochester Business Journal and the Daily Record are reporting on our case against real estate developers John Yurtchuk and David Huck, which centers on their breaches of fiduciary duty and other serious misconduct involving a successful student housing project adjacent to the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York.  Schulman Bhattacharya is proud to be representing famed real estate developer Thomas Masaschi in his fight to preserve his ownership interests in the project.  We have a long, successful track record protecting the rights of owners of real estate companies against oppressive and abusive practices by purported controlling partners.  We are currently handling several such cases in New York, Florida, and the Washington, D.C. area, and are prosecuting them with unrelenting vigor.  The Masaschi litigation adds to our fast growing New York practice, which now includes seven active lawsuits pending in the federal and state courts in New York City, Rochester, and Buffalo.
