Benjamin Kazenoff

Mr. Kazenoff joins Schulman Bhattacharya after clerking with the Honorable Sheri S. Roman in the New York State Appellate Division, Second Department. During his clerkship, Mr. Kazenoff worked on a broad range of complex appeals in the areas of commercial real estate, contract, insurance, medical malpractice and general tort liability, among other topics.

Prior to his clerkship, Mr. Kazenoff worked with a New York-based tax controversy firm assisting individual and corporate taxpayers in disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and New York State Department of Tax and Finance.

Mr. Kazenoff holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Brandeis University. He earned his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law, where he served as an editor of the Commercial Division Online Law Report and published work in the New York State Bar Association Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law Journal. Further, he worked as a student attorney in the St. Vincent de Paul Securities Arbitration Clinic, where he represented under-served investors in arbitration claims before the Financial Industry Regulatory Association (FINRA).

Mr. Kazenoff is admitted to practice in New York, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
