Anna Kornilova is an experienced commercial litigation attorney. She handles disputes on behalf of international and domestic clients in cases involving contracts, business torts, intellectual property, complex bankruptcies, award and judgment enforcement, allegations of securities laws violations, and class actions in courts throughout the United States.
Clients benefitting from Ms. Kornilova’s knowledge and experience include international pharmaceutical companies, multi-faceted products brokers, international investment funds, and high net worth individuals in a variety of matters.
Prior to joining Schulman Bhattacharya, Ms. Kornilova worked for a boutique commercial litigation firm in Washington D.C., where she worked for several years representing a major engineering, procurement, and construction contractor against alleged breach of contract, professional negligence, and fraud claims arising from a nearly $1 billion agrochemical plant relocation and expansion project.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Kornilova worked at a Maryland firm where she represented property management companies, commercial landlords, real estate investment trusts, technology companies, business owners, and public interest groups in all stages of commercial litigation in federal and state courts.
Ms. Kornilova received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland – College Park, where she majored in Psychology and Political Science and minored in French Language and Literature. Ms. Kornilova earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
